Role overview
The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in selling ‘business to business’ SaaS software solutions. The candidate will be a hunter, have a competitive nature and have a solution-orientated approach to sales.
Extensive training will be provided on the industry, product and sales tactics to give you the best opportunity to win. If you have experience from within the Accounting software and/ or ERP sales then that would be advantageous, though not essential.
Attitude is key in this area. The right candidate will have a good attitude and must be open to new challenges. Excellent commission structures and huge earning potential with a strong product backed by the latest technology.
The primary focus of this role is to promote our product offering to potential business partners and clients within strategic areas.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Establishing relationships with new partners and securing agreements that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Driving the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed deals.
- Prospecting for potential customers through calls, face to face meetings and networking.
- Qualifying prospects against company criteria.
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
- Working with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.
- Developing and maintaining territory plans.
- Keeping detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions daily.
- Cultivating strong relationships with partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers.
- Providing feedback to management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation.
- Providing feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities.
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
- Conducting all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Role overview
- Inbound support: Giving clients accurate telephonic and email support in a timely manner, following through on every client query/ request.
- Outbound: The Consultant will be required to consult with clients for the duration of Implementation and thus needs to build strong and lasting relationships with clients. They will need to perform their role by staying true to the client’s interests and thereby build a relationship built on proven good faith and trust. S/he must be able to meet both employer’s and customer’s goals as well as meet agreed on personal targets that will form part of the KPIs and the bonus structures.
Responsibilities
- Installation of Palladium on Servers and Workstations.
- Understanding and Implementation of Palladium according to Business Processes.
- Needs Analysis and Process scoping.
- New database setups.
- Imports (GL, AP, AR, Inventory).
- Configuration.
- QA Testing.
- End-User Training.
- Go Live Take Ons and Hand-Holding Support.
- Perform System Upgrades and Installations.
- Troubleshoot program errors.
- Communicate with Client Staff at the Highest Level.
- Basic understanding of MS SQL.
- Helpdesk Support.
- Telephonic and Email Support.
- Working as part of a revenue-generating team, the role will require the incumbent to complete assigned tasks within the required time, cost and quality control consideration.
