Microsoft partners with Acumatica for Power Fx

Microsoft has announced the partnership with Acumatica to evaluate how Power Fx can be leveraged with the low code/no code experience they offer to their customers. With businesses investing in automation, development is also moving towards a no/low code environment of interconnecting systems and performing tasks. This is what makes the partnership between Acumatica and Microsoft even more valuable.

What is Microsoft Power Fx?

Microsoft Power Fx is the low code language for expressing logic across the Microsoft Power Platform.  It is the same language that is at the heart of Microsoft Power Apps canvas apps today inspired by Microsoft Excel.  It enables the full spectrum of development from no code to pro code with no cliffs in between, enabling diverse teams to work together and saving everyone time and money.

By enabling an entirely new level of “being ready to code in plain English.” Previously, Microsoft’s Power Platform users still needed to know the essential logic of writing formulas. But now they will type commands like “Show 10 orders of product A in alphabetical order” and obtain the desired result.

The result you can see at the end of the animation when the discount is updated for one of the records and the field automatically recalculates.
